initial growth spurts

We have secured airtime on our local community television station, Pacific Coast Television (PCT). PCT recently expanded their viewing area to cover more of the San Mateo coast. Our new show fits well into their expansion efforts.

We spent December at the local farmer’s markets in both Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. We loved the Coastside Farmers Market events and sharing our concept with the community. We enjoyed enthusiastic support from farmers and residents alike.

In March 2012, Suzanne was selected as an ambassador for Jamie Oliver’s  National Food Revolution Day. The story we want to tell, the story of fresh local ingredients from farm to table, is a local story with global appeal. The Coast Bites mission echos Jamie’s advocacy: Stand Up For Real Food.

We have assembled an award-winning team to produce the show. We have started working with local resources to schedule ingredient segments during their peak seasons. Our first season schedule is in place (with a few open spaces for sponsorship opportunities) and we will unveil our pilot episode in April 2012.

Coast Bites is taking full flight.  Well.  Not quite.  That is why we need your help.
